Completing the course at your own pace grants you a Certificate of Completion. Upon completing the course, you may elect to apply for Certification. To do so, you must complete the course and then complete the additional requirements provided at the end of the course. There is an additional check on knowledge and critical thinking. There is no minimum amount of experience required to apply for Certification.

Questions
I bought the book, do I need the course?
That depends on your goals. The course covers the book material, with additional updates, videos, and quiz questions. The course also provides a Certificate of Completion and optional included Certification. If you don’t need any of those extras, you do not need the course.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, if you haven’t completed more than 20% of a course. Reach out within 14 days of purchase and we’ll issue a full refund.
Do certificates expire?
No. Neither Certificates of Completion nor Certification expire, though we always recommend staying current with updated course material when available.
Is there a Certification? Is it different than a Certificate of Completion?
Yes and yes. Completing the course gives you a Certificate of Completion. There is an optional additional series of steps towards Certification which could lead to a Certification, certifying you as a “Certified Peer Support LEADER - Level 1.” With that certification, you may use that title freely.
